Hiking and bike riding
Camping Duinoord is located right next to the beautiful forest of the Kop van Schouwen. On the Staatsbosbeheer website you will find great tips for being active in the area. The climbing forest is just a stone's throw away and fun excursions and activities are regularly offered for young and old. You will also find tips here for going out with your mountain bike.
The forest can be reached on foot from the campsite within 2 minutes. Various walking routes are indicated (from 4 km). If you would like to get some inspiration, various routes are indicated at Staatsbosbeheer and Natuurmonumenten. For example, walk the Hiding Hut Tour (6.5 km) or the ranger's path through the Meeuwenduinen (Closed during the breeding season 15/3-15/7). Or what about a route along the drowned land near the Plompetoren.
The gnome path is extra fun for the little ones! You can register for this in the excursion shed at the main entrance to the forest. (It is advisable to check opening hours in advance)
