Camping

Are (groups of) young people allowed at the campsite?

Camping Duinoord is a family campsite and there is a night's rest from 10pm. No (groups of) young people are allowed. Large groups at the campsite are also not allowed. The minimum age for making a reservation is 18 years.

Can I place an additional tent on the pitch?

It is allowed to place one additional tent which is not bigger than 2m x 3m and not higher than 1,75m.

How many persons are allowed per pitch?

You can stay with maximum 6 persons on one pitch.

I would like to bring a second car, where can it be parked?

If available, you can park the car on the designated parking spots on the campsite (we charge for this parking, only in case of overnight stay with a maximum of 1 night). Otherwise we kindly ask you to park your car on the public parking nearby (a fee is charged from april - october).

Where can I park my car?

Your reservation is inclusive one parking spot for your car. You can park your car on the received parking spot number (except some pitches where you have to park your car on the camping pitch itself). The key (or card) for the gate is personal and cannot be used for letting other cars on the campsite.

can I rent a seasonal pitch from you

There are currently no seasonal spots available. 

The 2024 preseason pitches are fully booked.

There are still post-season places and "Summer at the Sea" spots for 2024!

Accommodations

If you reserve an accommodation, is the end cleaning included?

The end cleaning of our accommodations is compulsory. The current prices are shown at the bookingpage.

Is it compulsory to rent bed sheeting (€10,00 per person)?

The use of bed sheeting is mandatory in our accommodations, but you can choose to bring your own bed sheeting. Towels are not present. Rentalprice is € 10,00 per person. 

Arrival & departure

Until what time can we arrive?

The reception is open untill 5pm. We kindly ask you to inform us in case your arrive after 5pm. If the reception is already closed, you can make use of the intercom (next to the reception).  *Due to maintenance the intercom is out of order. You can reach us by using the telephonenumber on the receptiondoor. 

What are the arrival and departure times?

If you have booked a pitch, arrival is possible from 2pm. Checkout is until 11am. Arrival time for the accommodations is from 3pm. Checkout is until 10am.

Facilities & opening hours

Can I charge my electric car at the campsite?

There is no charging station at the campsite itself. You can charge your electric car in the large parking lot opposite the campsite. Please note: you also have to pay a parking fee if you park the car at an electric charging station.

Is the campsite open the whole year?

Camping Duinoord is open all year round. The reception is open from Monday to Saturday from 9am – 12am and 1pm – 5pm. In wintertime the reception is open from 10am - 12am and from 1pm - 4pm.

Is there a supermarket on the campsite?

There is none on the campsite itself, but nearby (app. 300m) you will find a small supermarket (closed in wintertime). In Burgh-Haamstede there is a big supermarket in Market Plaza (app. 3,5 km) which is also open on Sunday.

Is there a swimming pool on the campsite?

For the smallest ones there is a paddling pool which is open from June to August.

Is there an animationteam at the campsite?
An animation team is present at the campsite during summer holidays. Also during easter, Ascension Day and Pentacost activities are being organised. 
Most activities take place at Camping Duinoord location. Please consult the program at the reception.
Is there wifi on the campsite?

On the campsite we have limited free wifi. Users have enough download to load/send Whatsapp messages, check their email and scroll through Facebook. Besides there is the possibility to rent a modem at the reception (expect for the basic pitches). You will have a solid and private internet service in and around your camping equipment. Both the villas at Duinoord aan Zee and the accommodations at Landgoed Duinoord are equipped with a modem.

Reservation & payment

I have guests coming over, do I need to register them?

You don’t need to give notice of day visitors. Overnight guests need to be registered. The costs are €4,50 to €5,50 per person per night (depending on the period). If your guests bring a car, they can park it on the public parking nearby (a fee is charged). Please be aware there is an allowance of maximum 6 persons per pitch.

Other

Are dogs allowed on the campsite?

Outside the main season two dogs are allowed per pitch. In the main season (July and August) only one dog. Please keep dogs on leash and don’t keep your dog alone unnecessary. In some accommodations (chalet type C/H and Duinbox D/H) one dog is permitted as well.

Are there any activities for children?
During the summer holidays there is an animation team on the campsite who organizes all kinds of fun activities. You can view the program at the reception.
During Easter, Whitsun and Ascension there will be some activities as well.  
There are plenty of fun activities in the area for children of all ages. In addition to the beach, which is within walking distance of the campsite, there is the 'Klimbos' in the vicinity, a trail through the treetops, it doesn't get more adventurous! In case of bad weather there is are plenty indoor things to do within half an hour driving. for example an indoor swimmingpool in the town of Goes. Look for more inspiration on the 'environment' tab on the website. For the little ones among us there is a small play pool on the campsite. You will find many tips and brochures at the reception.

Is de camping geschikt voor mindervaliden?
We have a number of camping pitches close to the sanitary building. 
There is a toilet for disabled in the sanitary building.
The key is available on request at reception.
One of the showers is also extra large and equipped with grab rails.
The rental chalets are not wheelchair accessible. Villa De Fazant has one bedroom on the ground floor.
The Old Beach House is entirely on the ground floor.
What is the distance to other villages?

Burgh Haamstede: 4 km

Renesse: 10 km

Zierikzee: 20 km

What is the nearest city / shopping option?
The village of Burgh Haamstede is 4 kilometers away. Here is a large supermarket and also some nice boutiques and restaurants.

The nice town of Zierikzee is 20 minutes by car. Here you will find many shops and restaurants. Also in Renesse it is nice to stroll through the market or in one of the many shops.

The nearest larger cities are Goes and Middelburg (30 min).
